Functional Consultant (SCF & Trade)

The successful candidate will engage with the Trade, Core/SCF team to address their day-to-day queries related to Trade/SCF tasks and products, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Purchase Order Financing, Factoring & Reverse Factoring, Payable Financing, Receivable Financing, Buyer/Distributor/Dealer Financing, and Long-Term Financing. The role requires supporting Trade/SCF applications 24/7, gathering new requirements, managing the overall system, and assisting the team in performing technical changes in the SCF application and other Trade systems.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Programming and SQL/PL-SQL
• Deep Knowledge of Trade Finance
• Proficiency in Java and DevOps
• Knowledge of Ethix Core Banking
• Understanding of Finances, RFR, and Profit calculation
• Proficient in Crystal Reports

Specialist Skills:

• Understanding of Core Banking, Trade/SCF products, their workflow, and lifecycle
• Knowledge of Islamic banking and products (Murabaha, Istisna, LME, Wakala, Ijara)
• Experience in core banking (Ethix) and Trade/SCF systems
• Background in defining accounting and posting rules for Trade/SCF products
• Experience in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• Minimum 18 years in banking, with at least 10 years in consultation on Core, Trade, or Supply Chain Finance
• Experience working in a bank or financial services company (preferably Islamic banking)

Education:
A good degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
