Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for APIs and backend systems.
- Perform database testing to validate data integrity, consistency, and performance.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Participate in test planning, test strategy development, and test case reviews.
- Conduct regression, integration, and system testing across various environments.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in functional testing, with a focus on API and database testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools such as Postman, SoapUI, SQL, and JIRA.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or higher) is mandatory.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Language Requirement: Arabic speaking is preferred.
