Generative AI/Machine Learning Expert

Our platform seamlessly integrates Data Governance, Data Visualization, and AI-driven automation to enhance data access, analysis, and decision-making. As part of our expansion, we are developing a full-stack AI platform in Dubai, integrating Generative AI, Machine Learning, and intelligent agents to automate data interpretation and natural language querying across structured and unstructured data sources.

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with extensive expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP to lead the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions, including Text-to-SQL, document intelligence, and AI-powered user agents. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of natural language understanding, data automation, and business intelligence, shaping the future of AI-enhanced data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generative AI Research & Development

   • Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate Large Language Models (LLMs) for enterprise data use cases.
   • Implement Generative AI agents to automate user interactions, including natural language interfaces and guided analytics.

2. Text-to-SQL & Natural Language Querying

   • Develop advanced Text-to-SQL models that translate human queries into optimized SQL across large-scale datasets.
   • Enhance AI understanding and contextual interpretation for complex, multi-intent data queries.

3. Document Intelligence & Data Structuring

   • Build solutions for intelligent document ingestion and querying (PDFs, Word, Excel), including semantic search, OCR, and vector indexing.
   • Integrate unstructured data sources into the Suadeo Data Catalog and Knowledge Graph.

4. ML Model Optimization & MLOps

   • Lead model deployment and monitoring using modern MLOps tools (CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker).
   • Optimize AI model performance for scalability, latency, and real-world applicability.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

   • Work closely with DevOps, Product, and Data teams in an Agile SAFe environment.
   • Provide strategic input on AI solution design, implementation, and business integration.

Required Technical Skills:

• Generative AI & LLMs: Hands-on experience with GPT (OpenAI), Mistral, Claude, LLaMA, or similar. Strong skills in fine-tuning, embedding models, and vector databases.
• Text-to-SQL & NLP: Deep understanding of natural language query transformation, semantic parsing, and search.
• Document Processing: Experience with OCR, NLP-based extraction, vector search, and document indexing.
• MLOps & Deployment: Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for deploying AI/ML models.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python (Langchain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face), FastAPI, SQL, REST APIs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science, with a proven focus on Generative AI, NLP, and deploying AI in production.
• Strong knowledge of AI systems architecture, model fine-tuning, and performance optimization.
• Experience building AI-powered products or features that integrate with existing data systems.
• Agile mindset with experience in SAFe methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
