Key Responsibilities
- Provide service in accordance with standard practices to meet client’s request and contract specifications.
- Maintain a good understanding of geotechnical methods, design practices, and internal procedures for engineering analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Geologists to develop engineering reports, ensuring appropriate techniques are implemented.
- Assist in planning, preparing method statements and quality plans for field investigations, and supervise personnel in the field and office as instructed.
- Liaise with project managers or site engineers to ensure all engineering requirements are met during field work, including completion of all field tests and sample collections as per project requirements.
- Manage data from site operations and ensure compliance with reporting formats; check all borehole logs, field data, and laboratory programs to align with codes and practices, obtaining client approval.
- Discuss report structure with Senior Engineers and clients, preparing factual and interpretive engineering reports, and develop foundation soil parameters and engineering analyses.
- Control the quality of works throughout the project, informing Senior Engineers and the Engineering Manager of any necessary corrective action.
- Support Senior Engineers and Senior Engineering Geologists in obtaining client approval for final reports.
- Act as Product Manager for selected company products, gaining expertise through literature and studies, and utilize learning portals for knowledge development.
- Contribute to the implementation of published Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures in the workplace.
- Liaise with the Commercial Department regarding any contractual or commercial issues.

- Work in accordance with outlined procedures to achieve consistent and sustainable results, noting that non-conformance may lead to disciplinary measures.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering, with hands-on experience in preparing geotechnical reports and foundation designs.
- Strong understanding of field data analysis and engineering parameter derivation in accordance with accepted practices and project requirements.
- Fluent in English, with excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Stay updated on new technical resources and advancements in geotechnical engineering.
