Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage GIS maps using ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap to support construction, logistics, safety, and other project functions in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
- Coordinate with project departments to design and implement GIS applications, including needs analysis, data modeling, programming, testing, and rollout.
- Manage geospatial databases and ensure interoperability with BIM/CAD tools like Revit, Civil3D, and 2D CAD.
- Perform data capture, analysis, and quality assurance for GIS products, ensuring supplier deliverables meet client requirements.
- Configure project GIS systems in alignment with Exchange Information Requirements (EIR).
- Support field data collection workflows using Survey123, drones, and LiDAR for approved use cases.
- Integrate multiple data sources into the GIS portal for reporting, dashboarding, and trend analysis.
- Maintain accurate geospatial documentation and keep current with GIS technology developments.
- Contribute to complex project planning and bids by developing technical approaches, process maps, and execution plans.
- Conduct Quality Assurance Checks on suppliers to ensure compliance with client GIS requirements.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. in Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience or 8 years of experience in a related field demonstrating capabilities in GIS.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with Esri products, including ArcGIS Server Advanced or ArcGIS Enterprise, and Esri Apps (Survey 123, Collector, Field Worker).
- Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Desktop software, including ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro.
- Preferred experience integrating with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Background in developing web-based GIS applications and familiarity with various datasets.
- Knowledge of cartographic procedures, GIS industry trends, and local regulations.
- Familiarity with programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, Python) and ETL software (FME) is preferred.
