GIS I&C Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic GIS I&C Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all activities required to ensure the successful installation and repair of switching systems, as well as eliminating any faults. You will oversee the installation of high voltage systems worldwide for PGHV and represent the company in dealings with clients at the installation site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensure compliance with installation requirements and accident prevention measures.
• Update red-mark drawings/documents with necessary changes during installation.
• Advise sub-supplier's installation superintendent in planning and coordination of the necessary work force.
• Cooperate with the PG Project Manager on the status of completed and non-completed work.
• Inspect incoming materials for completeness and damage, coordinating material handling with sub-suppliers.
• Issue non-conformance reports for damaged or missing equipment in cooperation with the PG Project Manager.
• Supervise final installation, commissioning tests, and PG installation completion documentation.
• Coordinate loop check activities and participate in site meetings as requested.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Uphold the company's core values of safety and integrity.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
• Previous experience with SF6 gas handling and PGHV transmission & sub-transmission GIS product knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Project is required.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
