GIS I&C Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic GIS I&C Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work under the GIS Supervisor, covering all activities required to enable switching systems to be successfully installed, repaired, and any faults eliminated. You will be responsible for the installation of high voltage systems worldwide and represent the organization through your presence and technical knowledge in dealings with clients at installation sites. Your responsibilities will include ensuring installation compliance, managing project schedules, advising on workforce coordination, supervising installation tests, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities Include:

• Carrying out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensuring compliance with installation requirements and accident prevention measures.
• Red-marking drawings/documents with any necessary changes during installation.
• Advising the sub-supplier's installation superintendent on work planning.
• Inspecting incoming material for completeness and possible damage.
• Issuing non-conformance reports for equipment issues.
• Supervising final installation & commissioning tests and project documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Your Background:

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience with GIS preferred.
• Previous experience with SF6 GAS handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub-transmission GIS products preferred.
• Proficient in using MS Project professionally.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
