GIS I&C Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic GIS I&C Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Saudi Arabia. In this full-time, on-site role, you will cover all activities required to enable switching systems to be successfully installed, repaired, and any faults eliminated. You will be responsible for the installation of high voltage systems worldwide for PGHV. Representing the company with your presence and technical knowledge, you will engage directly with clients at the installation site, adhering to project deadlines while maintaining a focus on cost-performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensure compliance with installation requirements and safety measures, especially for live system components.
• Make necessary updates to red-mark drawings/documents during installation.
• Advise the sub-supplier's installation superintendent on workforce planning and coordination.
• Cooperate with the PG Project Manager to track project status.
• Inspect arriving material for completeness and coordinate material handling.
• Issue non-conformance reports for damaged or missing equipment.
• Supervise final installation and commissioning tests and prepare documentation.
• Participate in loop check activities and site meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
• Previous experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub-transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in MS Project.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
