About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic GIS I&C Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for covering all activities required to enable the successful installation and repair of switching systems, as well as the elimination of any faults. You will handle the installation of high voltage systems globally for PGHV, representing PG through your presence and technical knowledge while dealing with clients at installation sites. Adherence to project deadlines and maintaining a favorable cost-performance ratio are crucial in this role. You will embody the PG QA philosophy, especially considering the unique conditions found on construction sites. Your responsibility will include ensuring the installation and commissioning work assigned to you is conducted in perfect technical order.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Carry out installation and maintenance work independently.
- Ensure compliance with installation requirements and instructions, especially safety and accident prevention measures, including guidelines for working on live system components.
- Update red-mark drawings/documents with any necessary changes or modifications that arise during installation.
- Advise the sub-supplier's installation superintendent in planning and coordinating the workforce to comply with schedules.
- Collaborate with the PG Project Manager to establish the status of completed and incomplete work.
- Inspect arriving material for completeness and possible damage, coordinating material handling with sub-suppliers under their procedures.
- Issue non-conformance reports for damage or missing equipment within PG's scope of supply, working with the PG Project Manager.
- Supervise final installation and commissioning tests along with PG installation completion documentation.
- Oversee and coordinate loop check activities and participate in site meetings as requested by the PG-CH Project Manager.
- Ensure competent execution of all assigned tasks.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfill job requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
- Previous experience with SF6 gas-handling and PGHV transmission and sub-transmission GIS product knowledge is preferred.
- Proficient in using MS Project professionally.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
