GIS I&C Team Lead

About the Job:
The opportunity for the GIS Installation and Commissioning Team Lead role at the company involves providing technical support to customers during the commissioning, installation, and testing of products and equipment. This position focuses on identifying and correcting complex start-up problems, evaluating new products, and developing ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

• Lead a team of GIS field service professionals and manage daily site activities.
• Ensure timely execution of new assemblies, maintenance, and commissioning orders.
• Contribute to project completion by achieving scheduling, cost, and material objectives.
• Participate in site meetings and review reports to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coach and monitor team performance, ensuring competency and safety standards are met.
• Plan and monitor resource utilization for projects.
• Communicate regularly with team members to understand their needs and provide guidance.
• Collaborate to improve coordination between project managers and site supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines.
• Uphold the company's core values of safety and integrity.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in GIS preferred; GIS certification is a must.
• Strong knowledge of SF6 gas handling and PGHV transmission/sub-transmission GIS products.
• Proficient in MS Project.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
