How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead a young and experienced GIS field services team.
- Manage daily site activities, ensuring expert and timely execution of orders related to new assemblies, malfunctions, preventive maintenance, and commissioning, contributing to the successful completion of projects by meeting schedules, costs, and material objectives.
- Participate in site meetings as required by various site organizations, review reports, correct mistakes, and highlight areas for improvement to the project team.
- Achieve 6 SOT (safety observation tours) for the year, ensuring hazards are closed whenever applicable.
- Coach and monitor the team to ensure competency matrix updates and achieve organizational targets with enough certified supervisors to lead according to HE standards.
- Support team members' competency improvements from both safety and technical perspectives.
- Plan and monitor team utilization in projects.
- Maintain regular communication with the team to understand their needs and provide guidance.
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the GIS supervisors’ team through regular site visits and monitoring of their progress and quality of work, ensuring correct reflection of man-hours for better project utilization.
- Collaborate to maintain understanding between project managers and site installation supervisors to reduce misunderstandings with customers by ensuring the right competencies among the team members based on the nature of the job and complexity.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Uphold the company's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Your Background
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in GIS preferred, with GIS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of SF6 GAS-Handling; PGHV transmission and sub-transmission GIS product knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Project.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
