You, as a GIS Installation and Commissioning Team Lead, will be part of the company business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will focus on providing technical advice to customers, including commissioning, installing, and testing of products or equipment. This role involves identifying and correcting complex problems associated with start-up, researching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that meet customer needs. Additionally, you will develop ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business.

Responsibilities

• Lead a young and experienced GIS field services team.
• Manage daily site activity, ensuring expert and timely execution of orders concerning new assembly, malfunctions, preventive maintenance, and commissioning.
• Participate in site meetings, review reports, and correct mistakes to support the project team’s future performance.
• Manage Safety Observation Team (SOT) objectives and address hazards in your area.
• Coach and monitor team performance, ensuring the competency matrix is updated and targets are met through certification of supervisors.
• Plan and monitor team utilization in projects and maintain solid communication to understand team needs.
• Enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the GIS supervisors' team through regular site visits and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Uphold the company's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in GIS preferred; GIS certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of SF6 gas handling; PGHV transmission and sub-transmission GIS product knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Arabic.
