About the Role
Join our team and contribute to creating a better world through the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In this role, you will work under general direction to program and apply a broad range of GIS database and spreadsheet software for design, mapping, and analysis. You will independently contribute to the design of databases and development of geodatabases and systems, as well as compile and analyze GIS data. Your responsibilities may also include evaluating commercial GIS applications, designing and developing GIS applications for internal use and client deliverables, and receiving technical guidance on complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
- Program and apply GIS database and spreadsheet software for design, mapping, and analysis.
- Independently contribute to the design of databases or development of geodatabases and systems.
- Compile and analyze GIS data.
- Evaluate commercial GIS applications and design internal GIS applications.
- Perform most assignments independently with general guidance on expected results.
- Seek supervisory approval on proposed plans for complex projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional GIS experience.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting major rail, metro, or infrastructure projects.
- Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS and spatial database management.
- Expertise in mapping and geospatial analysis.
- Exceptional analytical and technical reporting capabilities.
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience integrating GIS data with Building Information Modeling (BIM), engineering systems, and asset management platforms.
- Advanced competency in geospatial data integration and systems architecture.
