You, as a GIS Technical Advisor, will be part of Hitachi Energy’s High Voltage Business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for all activities required to ensure switching systems are successfully installed, repaired, and any faults are eliminated. This includes overseeing the installation of high-voltage systems worldwide for PGHV. You will represent Hitachi Energy through your technical expertise and presence, and PGHV specifically in interactions with clients at installation sites.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensuring installation work is carried out in perfect technical order and performing installation and maintenance tasks independently.
- Complying with installation requirements and instructions and ensuring all necessary accident prevention measures are observed—especially guidelines for working on live system components.
- Red-marking drawings or documents to reflect any changes or modifications made during installation.
- Advising sub-suppliers’ installation supervisors in planning and coordinating workforce to meet project schedules.
- Collaborating with the Hitachi Energy Project Manager to assess the status of completed and pending work.
- Inspecting arriving materials for completeness and damage and coordinating material handling with sub-suppliers’ Material Control teams.
- Issuing non-conformance reports for damaged or missing equipment within Hitachi Energy’s scope of supply, in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Supervising final installation tests and overseeing installation completion documentation.
- Supervising and coordinating loop check activities and participating in site meetings as requested by the Hitachi Energy CH Project Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience working with GIS preferred.
- Experience with SF6 gas handling; HE-CH GIS product knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
