GIS Troubleshooting Specialist

The GIS Troubleshooting Specialist is responsible for overseeing all activities required to install, repair, and eliminate faults in GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) systems. This role represents Hitachi Energy's interests globally, ensuring technical excellence, project deadlines, and quality assurance standards are upheld. The Specialist acts as Hitachi Energy’s technical ambassador at installation sites, maintaining client satisfaction while adhering to project schedules and cost-efficiency targets. \n\nHow you’ll make an impact \n- The GIS-Supervisor is responsible for the installation work entrusted to him being carried out in perfect technical order. \n- He carries out installation and maintenance work independently. \n- He is responsible for ensuring compliance with the installation requirements and instructions, and ensures that the necessary accident prevention measures are observed; specifically, he abides by the guidelines for work on live system components. \n- Shall be responsible for red-marking drawings/documents with any changes or modifications that became necessary during the installation. \n- Advise the sub-suppliers installation superintendent in planning and coordination of the workforce necessary to comply with the schedule. \n- Cooperate with HE Project Manager on establishing status of completed and non-completed work. \n- Inspection of arriving material for completeness and possible damage and coordination of material handling in cooperation with sub-suppliers Material Control within sub-suppliers procedures. \n- Issue of non-conformance reports for damage or missing equipment within HE scope of supply in cooperation with HE Project Manager. \n- Supervise final installation tests and ABB installation completion documentation. \n- Supervise and coordinate the loop check activities.
