We are seeking a GitOps Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance team, combining operations management, software engineering, and product development in a challenging role. The ideal candidate will be a Linux and operations expert with proven experience in managing teams and delivering software using infrastructure as code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead your team in daily agile devops practices
- Represent the IS team to stakeholders, customers, and internal teams
- Organize, coordinate, and drive internal projects
- Mentor engineers and improve their skills
- Implement structured engineering and operations processes
- Ensure prioritization on milestones and deliverables
- Meet service level agreements with global customer deployments
- Deliver quality managed services consistently and on time
What We Are Looking For:
- A strong drive and the ability to exceed expectations
- Proven experience managing devops teams for SaaS or similar offerings
- Understanding of testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
- Technical aptitude for complex distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and topologies
- Ability to travel twice a year for company events (up to two weeks)
- Exceptional academic record from high school and university
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Ubuntu system administration
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Experience managing distributed teams
