GitOps Engineering Manager

As a GitOps Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in managing operations, software engineering, product development, and team leadership.

Your responsibilities will include leading daily agile devops practices, mentoring engineers, organizing and driving internal projects, and ensuring quality managed services across global deployments. You will work remotely with a fully distributed team, leading a group in your time zone and reporting to a global director.

Work Conditions:

• This role is remote, based in the APAC region.
• Requires ability to travel twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the IS team to stakeholders and customers.
• Drive team health indicators and implement structured engineering processes.
• Focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in software delivery using infrastructure as code.
• Experience managing devops teams for SAAS or similar offerings.
• Technical aptitude for complex distributed systems.
• Ability to travel as specified.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Ubuntu system administration.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
• Background in managing distributed teams.
