Position

As a member of the Global Markets Sales team, the incumbent will be responsible for delivering agreed sales and revenue targets across Global Markets. This role involves identifying and cultivating cross-sell opportunities within specified sectors and geographies to build long-term relationships and establish FAB as the preferred bank for all Global Markets products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Origination and distribution of Global Markets solutions to key clients in FAB’s Corporate Banking Group, meeting revenue and sales targets.
  • Develop and deepen client relationships through regular engagement, thought leadership, and a solution-driven approach, aimed at building long-term partnerships with key accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to all Global Markets Sales requirements that align with FAB’s regulatory, compliance, and best practice standards.
  • Maintain high-quality execution and foster strong relationships with GM product teams, coverage teams, and enablement functions.
  • Work closely with members of the GM Sales Team and provide support as required.
  • Escalate client, internal, or monetary impacting issues to the line manager within a suitable timeframe.
  • Participate in client events, forums, and off-site events as required.
  • Optimize customer flow activity and identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance the GM franchise.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of 10 - 15 years in Financial Markets, ideally in Corporate Sales within Global Markets.
  • Knowledge of Global Market products, including risk valuations, XVA pricing, and RAROC.
  • Established pool of client relationships within UAE-based mid and large-size Corporates.
  • Direct customer support and client service experience.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using a range of MIS and performance metrics to drive client portfolio growth.
  • Experience working in a high-volume and high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with regional and global teams.
