Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions across our technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Drive innovation and improvements in our development practices.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- For Staff level: Be the hands-on technical leader for a team (with the support of our Head of Engineering, Principal Engineers, and Product Owners).
Current Tech Stack
- Frontend: Next.js
- Backend: Node.js (experience layer), Go (system layer), Python (AI)
- APIs: GraphQL, gRPC
- Other technologies: Temporal, Kafka (Redpanda), PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Flux, Azure, GitHub
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong background in one or more areas of our tech stack.
- Ability to think in systems and approach problems holistically.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team environment.
- Experience with cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and testing.
- Excitement to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multiple areas of our tech stack.
- Knowledge of fintech, banking, or wealth management domains.
- Familiarity with distributed system architectures.
