Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement well-tested and documented software in Go - Debug and resolve issues encountered by users - Participate in engineering processes, including code and architectural reviews - Collaborate with colleagues and the community on technical specifications - Seek improvements in engineering and operations practices - In some cases, deploy and operate services developed by the team - Contribute to the success of your product through technical advocacy
Qualifications: - Exceptional academic track record from high school and university - Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path - Strong drive and a history of exceeding expectations - Excellent organization and self-starting ability with a commitment to deliver on schedule - Professional manner in interactions with colleagues, partners, and the community - Experience in designing and writing high-quality Golang software on Linux - Passion for Linux at the system level - For senior roles: experience with distributed systems and APIs, building, deploying, and operating them - Proficient in written and spoken English - Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability - Strong communication and presentation skills
