We are hiring a Golang Software Engineer at any seniority level who is committed to achieving the highest standards of engineering quality. This position offers the opportunity to work with numerous popular software systems and integrate exciting open-source solutions. The Commercial Systems unit consists of five engineering teams that closely collaborate with other business and engineering teams at Canonical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing engineering solutions leveraging Golang
• Collaborating with colleagues on technical designs and code reviews
• Deploying and operating services developed by the team
• Mentoring and offering career development feedback, depending on your seniority
• Promoting best practices in engineering and organization

What We Are Looking For:

• An exceptional academic record from both high school and university
• An undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative path
• Experience in software development using Golang
• Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
• A results-oriented mindset with a personal drive to meet commitments

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Performance engineering and security experience
• Familiarity with accounting, sales, or sales operations

Language Requirements:

• Proficient in professional written and spoken English
