Graduate Algorithms Developer

KATIM is a leader in the development of innovative secure communication products and solutions for governments and businesses. This role introduces designing algorithms for the physical layer. The graduate will assist in coding, testing, and analyzing algorithms while building a strong mathematical foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and summarize academic papers on algorithm optimization, and present findings in team meetings.
• Assist in coding numerical algorithms in Matlab, C/C++ or Python; test and debug under supervision.
• Participate in performance evaluation and optimization tasks; suggest small improvements.
• Support documentation and version control for algorithm designs.
• Attend cross-functional meetings to understand how algorithms interact with system hardware and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• Coursework in communications theory, probability and linear algebra.
• Coursework in programming, control systems or numerical methods.
• Experience with software development tools and version control (e.g., Git).
