Responsibilities
As a member of the Building Enclosures Digital team, your role will involve supporting the development and implementation of digital solutions across building enclosure design and multidisciplinary project delivery. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and implementation of BIM and digital delivery workflows.
- Contributing to computational design and geometry-driven processes using Rhino and Grasshopper.
- Supporting the automation of design, analysis, coordination, and documentation workflows.
- Contributing to digital innovation initiatives, including appropriate applications of AI and emerging technologies.
- Collaborating with architects, designers, engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams to improve digital delivery and project outcomes.
- Participating in research and development activities to advance digital practices across Building Enclosures.
- Supporting the development of internal digital tools, templates, standards, and reusable workflows.
- Exploring opportunities to improve the efficiency, consistency, and quality of digital project delivery.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in Architecture or a related built-environment discipline.
- A good understanding of Revit and BIM workflows.
- Familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive mindset, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies.
Preferred Exposure
While not mandatory, exposure to the following areas would be advantageous:
- Computational design, visual scripting, or programming.
- Automation, data management, AI, or digital transformation.
- Dynamo, Python, C#, Power BI, web technologies, or similar digital tools.
- Digital project delivery and multidisciplinary design coordination.
