About the Team
The mission of the Data Platform Workplace Service System team is to empower the Workplace Service System Business with data. We support our businesses by building high-quality real-time and offline data warehouses, creating data-friendly assets, and exploring business-oriented data solutions. As a data engineer in this team, you will have the opportunity to build, optimize, and grow one of the largest data platforms in the world, gaining hands-on experience with various systems in the data platform ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data transformations efficiently and reliably for various purposes (e.g. reporting, growth analysis, multi-dimensional analysis)
• Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business
• Establish solid design and best engineering practices for both engineers and non-technical personnel

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Proficient in Java/Python, with solid programming skills (e.g. algorithms and data structures)
• Must be available to start in Dubai in January, May, or September 2025
• Familiar with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Flink etc.)
• Good communication and teamwork skills to clearly convey technical concepts to teammates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing data analysis, data ingestion, and data integration
• Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) and architecting data systems
• Experience with schema design, data modeling, and SQL queries
