About the Role:
The Technology team at the company is responsible for building the systems and experiences that drive the platform. We are seeking problem-solving Android Engineers to design and deliver features utilized by millions of users. Our tech stack includes Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, RxJava, Coroutines, Dagger, Retrofit, and adheres to a TDD approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Designers on feature design and prototyping
- Shape user experiences from wireframes to implementation
- Build elegant solutions in partnership with design and product teams
- Define and maintain visual guidelines for consistency across the app
- Prototype new interactions based on feedback
- Develop expertise with the Android SDK
- Manage tasks, track progress, and deliver outcomes
- Share updates with global teams and learn from senior engineers
Requirements:
- A predicted or achieved 2:1 (or equivalent grade)
- Graduation year: 2025, 2026, or 2027
- A portfolio of coding projects or open-source contributions
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar field
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Proactive, ambitious, and results-driven approach
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Full-time availability from early or late 2027
- Ability to attend a company office at least 3 days per week
