Our Graduate Programme is designed for ambitious graduates looking to kickstart their careers in fintech. This 12-month programme offers a hands-on experience with real projects and the opportunity to solve complex challenges, impacting the business right from the start. Participants can also expect structured training and exposure to various areas of the organization, with top performers eligible for promotion during or after the programme.

The Technology team at the company is responsible for building the systems and experiences that keep our operations running smoothly. We are looking for Java Engineers to take ownership of the entire feature lifecycle, work on diverse projects, and engage in cross-functional collaboration. Our tech stack includes Java (17/21), GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, SparkJava, Spock, jOOQ, with a focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Owners across different tech stacks
  • Build APIs and develop microservices
  • Optimize systems for risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing
  • Drive greenfield projects and enhance existing ones
  • Partner with senior mentors to build expertise
  • Manage tasks, track progress, and deliver outcomes
  • Share updates and collaborate with global teams
  • Use regular feedback to accelerate your development

What You’ll Need

  • A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree, or equivalent grade
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, mathematics, physics, or another STEM subject
  • To have graduated in 2025, 2026, or 2027
  • A portfolio of coding projects or open-source contributions
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, ambitious, and results-driven mindset
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
  • Full-time availability from early or late 2027
  • Ability to attend a company office at least 3 days per week (hybrid role)
