Graduate Trainee - Software Engineer

The Graduate Trainee - Software Engineer position is part of the Bedaya Training Program, a 12-month introductory workplace experience designed for Emirati university graduates. This program includes rotations through various departments and complementary classroom training, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills that facilitate a transition into targeted roles within the organization. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be offered a permanent position tailored to their skills and career aspirations. Opportunities are available across major Retail and Corporate Banking departments, as well as in emerging tech teams, such as the Digital Office, Agile divisions, Advanced Analytics unit, and high-growth subsidiaries like Liv.

Training Areas/Skills:

1. Spring Boot Training:

   • Java and Spring Boot technologies
   • SOLID principles, Event Driven Architecture, MongoDB, Spring Cloud, Hibernate
   • Hands-on experience with cloud design patterns, CI/CD principles, troubleshooting distributed services, API gateway integrations.

2. Node JS Training:

   • Development of scalable Restful APIs using NodeJS
   • Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
   • Practical experience with GraphQL, task/message queues, and authentication frameworks.

3. Full Stack Development (React JS & Node JS):

   • Development of responsive web-based UIs using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
   • Documentation of code and understanding advanced coding techniques, including task/message queues.
