What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage and lead a highly creative and dynamic team of 2D and 3D graphic specialists.
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of creative graphics design solutions from inception to completion.
- Prepare design and deliver high-quality reports, boards, and presentations.
- Maintain and adhere to the company and Clients’ brand identity guidelines.
- Create sophisticated templates for presentations and reports, as needed, for designers’ use across multiple purposes.
- Design and prepare complicated art and layouts, applying established standards and formats from Clients or the company brand identity guidelines, templates, or style manuals.
- Develop layouts to the highest quality to graphically represent the company’s design solutions and works.
- Design and produce complex reproduction-ready visual graphics, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, plots, diagrams, tables, sketches, isometrics, graphs, posters, signs, and certificates.
- Create sketch renders to demonstrate the space and scale of designs in early concept stages.
- Produce motion graphics and animations for video projects and digital presentations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budget requirements are met.
- Ensure the utmost quality of deliverables, including checking the quality of the team’s output.
- Mentor junior designers and provide art direction to enhance the overall design quality.
- Stay up to date with emerging design trends and technologies for innovative solutions.
- Work directly with Technical Design Leads and/or authors/requestors to review artwork, text, and other materials for assigned documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Over 10 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within the same industry.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch Up, Lumion, etc.
- Robust understanding of user interface (UI) design principles.
- Strong typography skills and an excellent eye for layout and composition.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Solid experience in brand identity development and implementation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Capable of multitasking across various design projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to translate sketches into workable scales and spaces using modeling software.
- Self-motivated, able to work as part of a team, and independently.
Desired Skills
- Previous experience in Architecture and/or Engineering Design.
- Eager to improve graphic design skills and techniques for enhancing digital presentations.
- Ability to hand-sketch in plan, section, and 3D.
- Relevant professional qualifications and affiliations.
- Local UAE or GCC experience.
