As the Graphic Design Manager, you will manage a highly creative team of 2D and 3D graphic specialists. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating sophisticated templates for various design purposes.
- Checking the quality and deliverables of the team's work.
- Designing and preparing complex art and copy layouts in accordance with the Company's style manual.
- Preparing high-quality reports, boards, and presentations.
- Producing complex reproduction-ready visual graphics such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, diagrams, and posters.
- Developing layouts that graphically represent the Urban Studio's design work.
- Creating sketch renders to demonstrate space and scale during early concept development.
- Collaborating directly with Technical Design Leads and authors/requestors to review submissions and recommend improvements for clarity and consistency with Company style.
Skills Required:
- Expert understanding of graphical software including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Lumion, etc.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively within the studio.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to translate outline sketch ideas into workable scales and spaces using modeling software.
- Self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- 10+ years of continuous employment in the Architecture and Engineering Design field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Design, or a related field.
Desired Skills:
- Willingness to further develop graphical skills and techniques for enhancing digital design presentations.
- Ability to hand sketch in plan, section, and 3D.
- Relevant professional qualifications and affiliations.
- Previous experience in an architecture or engineering firm.
