Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative designs for a wide range of applications including stickers, signage, number plates, engraved products, and others.
- Prepare and adapt artwork for printing on different surfaces such as vinyl, forex, acrylic, wood, and metal, ensuring compatibility with CNC, laser engraving, and other crafting machinery.
- Collaborate with the crafting section team to understand project requirements and translate them into visually appealing and production-ready designs.
- Ensure all designs are prepared in the correct formats, color modes, and resolutions suitable for printing and engraving.
- Maintain consistency in design quality while meeting deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.
- Conduct pre-production checks to minimize errors and ensure print accuracy.
- Support the team in optimizing workflow between design and production, ensuring efficient handover of files.
- Organize and archive design files systematically for easy retrieval and future reference.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information and proprietary designs.
- Perform other duties as required by their Supervisor and the Manager, Allied Trades.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in printing, signage, or crafting industries.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of print production processes, color management, and file preparation for various materials.
- Strong creativity with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, both in writing and verbally is required.
