Job Description:
As a Graphic Designer, you will:
- Design and prepare moderately complex artworks and copy layouts, following established standards and formats from the company or client style manuals or branding guidelines.
- Collaborate directly with Project Managers, Designers, Technical Writers/Editors, and authors/requestors to review artwork, text, and other materials submitted for inclusion in assigned documents.
- Recommend improvements for accuracy of expression, clarity, and consistency with company or client styles.
- Design and produce reproduction-ready visual graphics, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, plots, diagrams, tables, sketches, isometrics, viewgraphs, posters, signs, and certificates.
- Modify existing artwork as required.
- Serve as part of a functional team to complete assignments according to schedule.
- Prepare presentations and graphic layouts.
Required Skills:
- Associate's or equivalent degree in Graphic Design or a certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design.
- Proven ability to visually depict accurate information and project concepts in graphics and presentations.
- Technical competence in software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, AfterEffects) and Microsoft tools.
- Familiarity and interest in engineering, environmental, construction, or architecture projects.
- Strong communication skills to convey the purpose and intent of infrastructure concepts via graphic representation.
