Job Description:
- Study design briefs and determine project requirements.
- Conceptualize visuals based on project requirements.
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using suitable software.
- Apply appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
- Amend designs based on feedback.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and align with brand standards.
- Document design reports, status reports, monthly/weekly reports, dashboards, and bidding documents.
- Work collaboratively on a wide range of projects and media using various software to produce innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.
- Obtain input from managers to ensure designs meet organizational standards and accurately represent the company or client.
- Work independently as well as cooperatively with the PMO team to meet deadlines.
- Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions to improve design capabilities.
- Create new processes and standards for graphic design.
- Update and maintain internal databases for graphic design tasks.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a similar field.
- 8+ years of related work experience.
- Proven experience in graphic design.
- A highly creative mindset and strong portfolio of illustrations or graphics.
- Familiarity with design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- Proactive approach to tasks and assisting in the overall efficiency of the PMO.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience working in a technical PMO.
- Experience creating engineering or project management documents/reports.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with multidisciplinary departments.
