Parsons is looking for a highly creative and exceptionally talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare moderately complex artworks and copy layouts, adhering to established standards and formats from the company’s or client’s style manuals or branding guidelines.
- Collaborate directly with Project Managers, Designers, Technical Writers/Editors, and authors/requestors to review artwork, text, and other materials for inclusion in assigned documents.
- Recommend improvements for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with company or client styles.
- Design and produce reproduction-ready visual graphics, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, diagrams, tables, sketches, posters, signs, and certificates.
- Modify existing artwork as required and prepare presentations and graphic layouts.
Required Skills:
- Associate's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or a certificate from an accredited design/graphics course (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design.
- Proven ability to visually depict accurate information and project concepts when developing graphics and creating presentations.
- Technical competence in software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, After Effects) and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity and interest in engineering, environmental, construction, or architecture projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey the purpose and intent of infrastructure concepts through graphic representation.
