Key responsibilities include scheduling, testing, and implementing enhancements or new releases of the endpoint security stack, troubleshooting and resolving issues in collaboration with other technology teams, and partnering with IT teams to ensure effective deployment and modification of solutions according to business needs. The specialist will monitor endpoint alerts, investigate suspicious activities, coordinate response actions, and participate in security incident investigations involving endpoints while supporting root cause analysis. Additionally, responsibilities encompass writing custom scripts for automation in endpoint security, developing endpoint hardening standards, and maintaining asset inventory data.

Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 8-10 years of IT experience, at least 5 of which should have been dedicated to Endpoint Security. A solid understanding of cloud security (e.g., Azure, O365, AWS) is desirable, along with experience in creating technical documentation for security tools and procedures, particularly concerning Cyber Asset Management Solutions and vendors like CheckPoint, Symantec, Microsoft, Fortinet, and OT Security Solutions.

Soft skills required are excellent communication and analytical abilities, strong program and project management skills, effective time management, and a proactive approach to learning in a complex environment. Technically, the candidate should possess working knowledge of deploying and managing EDR and DLP solutions, as well as in-depth knowledge of endpoint security technologies such as endpoint encryption, mobile device management, and patch management. Familiarity with various operating systems, imaging technologies, scripting (including cmd, PowerShell, WMI, and bash scripting), and relevant technical certifications (e.g., SANS, CompTIA, Microsoft security certifications) are advantageous.

Proficiency in English is likely preferred, though not explicitly stated.
