The role involves responding quickly and effectively to IT security incidents, managing them according to the incident management life cycle, and conducting forensics for evidence gathering. Regular risk assessments will be performed on existing firewall rules and new change requests from the business. The Specialist will maintain site-to-site connectivity with global the company sites and collaborate with internal teams to enhance the security posture across the group.
Additionally, the Specialist must stay updated on IT trends and security standards, recommend best practices, and act as an ambassador for the company by promoting positive behaviours aligned with the company's principles and values.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8-10 years of experience in the IT field, with at least 5 years in Network Security and managing security solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CheckPoint and Fortinet solutions, as well as Azure Security.
- Familiarity with data leakage prevention, next-generation firewalls, and cloud security (Azure, AWS) is desirable.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CCSA, CCSE, Azure Fundamentals, and Azure Administrator are advantageous.
- Ability to create technical documentation for security tools and procedures.
- Preferable experience with multinational companies.
