The Group Specialist - Network Security will administer, troubleshoot, and manage network security solutions implemented in Shared Security Hubs, including next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, and security incident monitoring. Responsibilities include providing prompt assistance to Business Units (BUs) for new requirements or network support concerns, fine-tuning security controls configurations, and conducting infrastructure-related vulnerability assessments. The specialist will respond effectively to IT security incidents, manage risks, and maintain site-to-site connectivity with global DP World sites. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to improve the security posture within DP World. The role requires staying updated on technology trends and security standards while promoting DP World’s values and adhering to its Code of Conduct.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 8-10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in Network Security and Managing Security Solutions. Hands-on experience with CheckPoint, Fortinet Solutions, and Azure Security is required, while familiarity with data leakage prevention solutions, O365 Security, next-generation firewalls, and cloud security (Azure, AWS) is desirable. Industry-recognized professional certifications such as CCSA, CCSE, Azure Fundamentals, and Azure Administrator are preferred. A good understanding of E-commerce, logistics, supply chain, and port operations is an advantage, as well as prior experience in multinational companies.
Key soft skills needed include excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; strong program and project management, time management, and conflict management skills; and the ability to work as a team player with cultural awareness and adaptability to complex environments.
Technical skills required encompass deep technical knowledge of IT technologies, operating systems, networking, and security vulnerabilities, alongside a solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerability assessment and mitigation. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English is also required.
