As a Group Specialist in Technology Resilience at DP World, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of database restoration tests for non-critical applications and disaster recovery (DR) tests for critical applications across Head Office (HO) and regional business units. Key responsibilities include conducting business impact assessments to define Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), collaborating with technology teams to ensure that new initiatives meet the required recovery levels, and performing periodic reviews of backup configurations for critical data and systems. You will work with various stakeholders, including business continuity management, external partners, and regulatory bodies, to maintain effective DR exercises and ensure smooth recovery after any disaster declaration.
Additionally, you will monitor the availability of critical applications and infrastructure, report on unplanned downtimes, and provide updates on DR drills and backup tests for KPI reporting. You are also expected to conduct workshops and training sessions for technology teams on DR management and serve as an ambassador for DP World by promoting a culture of safety and ethical conduct.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8-10 years of experience in IT governance, with at least 5 years in technology resilience management.
- Extensive experience in implementing organizational programs for continuity management and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with BCP and DR Recovery plan testing.
- Preferred certifications: CBCI, ISO 22301 Certified Business Continuity Manager, CBCP, C/DRE, EDRP, or similar.
- Working knowledge of ISO 22301, ISR, COBIT 2019.
- Understanding of E-commerce, logistics, supply chain, and port operations applications is advantageous.
- Experience with Multinational Companies (MNC) is preferred.
