Hardware Development Engineer

As part of the Space & Cyber Technologies cluster at the company, KATIM delivers robust, secure, end-to-end solutions centered on four core business units: Networks, Ultra Secure Mobile Devices, Applications, and Satellite Communications.

In this entry-level role for designing, testing, and supporting hardware components, the graduate will work under senior engineers to learn hardware development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating schematic diagrams and PCB layouts for simple circuits.
• Support prototyping and testing of hardware; analyze test results and suggest design adjustments.
• Help update existing hardware to integrate with new software or interfaces.
• Maintain documentation of hardware designs, test results, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with software and systems teams to ensure hardware compatibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Coursework in electronics, digital logic, and circuit design.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and basic programming is advantageous.
• Key skills include analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication.
• Teamwork and willingness to learn from experienced engineers.
• Creativity and problem-solving orientation.
