Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute rapid evaluation of engineering concepts across various fields.
  • Perform trade studies and physics-based analysis of engineering problems.
  • Design, implement, and test complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Lead design reviews and define hardware test plans.
  • Analyze failures and transition successful projects into production.
  • Support hardware demonstrations with customers as needed and travel to test sites.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in an engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in immersive technical projects (collegiate or professional).
  • Professional experience in mechanical or electrical design.
  • Proficiency in CAD for designing mechanical parts.
  • Understanding of various manufacturing methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong competency in engineering first principles.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Eligibility for UAE security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing aircraft subsystem layouts.
  • Competency in engineering analysis (structural, thermal, electrical).
  • Experience integrating subsystems onto aircraft and hands-on prototyping.
  • Familiarity with designing hardware for rugged environments.
  • Background in developing electronics hardware products.
