What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading and mentoring a diverse engineering team while promoting best practices and technical excellence.
- Owning the product and solution architecture with an emphasis on quality control and code optimization.
- Collaborating with various teams to enhance engineering processes and improve overall quality and efficiency.
- Influencing best practices to ensure consistency across the company.
- Working with senior leadership to define and execute a technical roadmap that supports business objectives.
- Optimizing team performance as a functional leader and playing a pivotal role in the hiring process.
What You'll Need:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- Experience in building and leading a software engineering team in a scaling organization.
- Strong software architecture skills, particularly in scalable distributed systems.
- Big-picture thinking to accurately diagnose problems and formulate innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with JVM languages.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Familiarity with operating AI infrastructure, especially in optimizing LLM inference and training at scale.
- In-depth knowledge of GPU architecture and CUDA programming.
