Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise AI governance framework, including policies, standards, and operating procedures.
- Align governance practices with global regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, local regulatory bodies) and internal compliance requirements.
- Develop guidelines for responsible AI, fairness, explainability, and bias mitigation.
- Implement model risk governance processes, including validation, monitoring, and periodic reviews.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and ethical AI principles throughout the AI lifecycle.
- Establish approval workflows for AI models, including risk classification and sign-off processes.
- Define metrics and dashboards for monitoring AI performance, drift, and compliance status.
- Collaborate with business units, technology teams, and external regulators to ensure governance alignment.
- Drive AI literacy programs focused on governance, risk, and compliance for stakeholders.
- Continuously update governance frameworks to reflect evolving regulations and technologies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Governance, Risk Management, or related field.
- Experience: 12+ years in governance, risk, or compliance roles, with at least 5 years in AI/ML governance or model risk management.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle, model validation, and monitoring practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, ISO AI standards) and ethical AI principles.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage cross-functional teams, and drive organizational change.
