Head of Artificial Intelligence

The Head of Artificial Intelligence will lead the strategic development and implementation of AI initiatives across the organization, driving innovation and leveraging AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage. The role involves building and leading a world-class, cohesive generative AI team that fosters camaraderie and attracts top talent.

Key responsibilities include:

• Spearheading the bank's AI transformation agenda by aligning AI strategy with business objectives.
• Overseeing the AI roadmap, ensuring clear goals, timelines, and accountability.
• Developing and executing a comprehensive AI strategy, adopting advanced AI technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
• Managing relationships with key AI vendors and service providers.
• Implementing and maintaining standards in AI data management, privacy, and security.
• Leading end-to-end AI service delivery and establishing governance over AI assets.

The role also requires promoting a data-driven culture and ensuring ethical use of AI and data across the organization. Metrics and KPIs will be established to measure the success and impact of AI initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

• 10+ years of leadership experience in AI and technology management, preferably in the financial services or banking sector.
• Proven experience in senior executive roles, with a history of successful large-scale AI transformations.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance within the financial industry.
• Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into innovative AI solutions.
