This position is responsible for the overall performance and service delivery of all Operations & Technology activities in Kuwait. It involves managing and directing the functioning of operations to provide the foundation and organizational structure that supports business development. The role emphasizes facilitating a strong control environment, maximizing efficiency, and controlling costs through benchmarked service delivery and operational standards, all within the framework of corporate policies, procedures, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and direct operations, ensuring alignment with business development goals.
- Institute operations risk management guidelines through appropriate technology and process engineering.
- Recommend and implement operation plans and develop goals for all officers in line with the overall business plan.
- Identify opportunities for service quality and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance of personal and team activities with all Risk Management programs, Internal Control, and Audit requirements.
- Coordinate with the Central Bank of Kuwait to meet their requirements related to systems, reporting, and control.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing operations within a technology-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Experience in coordinating with regulatory bodies, particularly the Central Bank.
