Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the enterprise data strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and digital transformation roadmap.
- Establish a modern, scalable, and secure data ecosystem supporting analytics, AI, reporting, and operational decision-making.
- Lead and develop the Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, and Data Governance teams.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Ensure reliable data pipelines integrating payment systems, merchant platforms, financial systems, CRM, and operational applications.
- Drive automation, scalability, availability, and performance of data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Engineering to establish enterprise data architecture standards.
- Deliver executive dashboards and KPI reporting for senior management and Board Committees.
- Establish enterprise-wide data governance policies, standards, and ownership models.
- Define data quality controls, metadata management, master data management, and data lifecycle processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across all systems.
- Ensure data management practices comply with: SAMA regulatory requirements, NCA Cybersecurity Controls, Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and internal security and governance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Equivalent years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Management. 5+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise data teams. Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services is preferred.
- Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
