We’re hiring a Head of Deployment & Delivery to lead the successful deployment, operation, and service delivery of our robotic systems across real-world environments. This role owns the end-to-end execution of robotic deployments, ensuring that systems are delivered safely, reliably, on schedule, and to consistently high operational standards. You will be responsible for building, leading, and scaling the teams that deploy and operate our robots in the field, while defining deployment governance, readiness criteria, and execution standards. You will also provide leadership with clear visibility into delivery status, risks, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end deployment and service delivery of robotic systems across all customers and pilots, ensuring safety and quality.
- Oversee live operations and service performance, including fleet readiness, uptime, and operational continuity across deployed sites.
- Lead and scale deployment operations teams, establishing clear ownership and performance expectations.
- Plan deployment capacity and resource allocation, balancing priorities across pilots and customer deployments.
- Define and enforce deployment and operational standards, including readiness criteria and acceptance benchmarks.
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on deployment performance, risks, and delivery status.
- Own incident management and operational recovery, ensuring effective escalation and implementation of corrective actions.
- Act as the primary operational interface with engineering, product, and commercial teams.
- Coordinate deployments across internal teams and external stakeholders, including procurement, logistics, and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in deployment and operation of field robotics and autonomous systems in real-world environments.
- 7+ years of experience in robotics deployment, field operations, systems engineering, or technical service delivery roles.
- Proven experience leading technical field teams operating complex hardware–software systems.
- Strong understanding of robotic system deployment, commissioning, and operational lifecycle.
- Experience defining operational processes, runbooks, SLAs, and escalation models.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, early-stage, or scaling technology environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Relevant safety, HSE, or operational leadership certifications are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to deployment sites as required.
