About the job:

The head of the cluster is responsible for overseeing and managing the business development and orchestrating the operations of a specific cluster. The role involves leading business development and implementing strategies to ensure the efficiency of the cluster and driving GDP and job creation in the country. The head of the cluster will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives and optimize cluster operations.

  • Cluster Management:

    • Provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure alignment with organizational goals and GDP targets.
    • Monitor cluster performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive best practices and standardization.
  • Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, investments, and projects in Abu Dhabi.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to define the overall cluster strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Monitor industry developments and proactively identify opportunities for growth or further diversification.
  • Business Development:

    • Oversee business development activities focusing on identifying and engaging target international and regional partners.
    • Develop business development metrics to determine progress against predetermined goals and objectives.
    • Lead roadshow to target countries and large potential partners.
    • Share best practices and use of emerging technology and intelligence with specialists and officers to improve lead conversion rates.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated issues or concerns related to cluster operations and business development.
    • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.

Experience:

  • Experience in investment attraction and management.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology.
  • Required experience of 7 years.
  • Public speaking skills.
