The Head of Engineering will direct the engineering efforts to align with NEOM's visionary goals for public safety. Responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive engineering strategy, managing design reviews, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. The role demands analyzing complex issues, mentoring the engineering team, and evaluating technologies for integration into projects while defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Fire & Security Engineering Strategy and oversee design review processes.
- Lead a team in managing engineering systems related to NEOM projects.
- Develop and implement engineering plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Source opportunities for engineering design and review through industry knowledge.
- Enhance operational effectiveness and future-readiness in all public safety areas.
- Foster innovation and continuous learning within the engineering team.
- Collaborate with project leadership to ensure quality, timing, and cost objectives are met.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in engineering and construction projects in the public safety domain.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Familiarity with international codes, standards, and best practices in public safety engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- Master’s degree and advanced certifications in security or public safety are preferred.
