As the Head of Engineering, you will act as a Deputy CTO, leading all software development efforts to build and maintain a secure, high-performance, and scalable yield generation platform. This role requires a strong technical background, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities. You will collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to deliver innovative software solutions and foster partnerships with leading blockchain foundations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement a technology-first strategy for competitive advantage and scalability.
- Oversee design, development, and implementation of blockchain products ensuring quality and security.
- Ensure reliability and resilience of API services to handle high throughput and complex cases.
- Lead and mentor teams including Technical Leads, Software Engineers, and smart contract developers.
- Manage hiring and performance growth; align resources with product managers.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous monitoring and reliability improvements.
- Engage with the blockchain community and represent the company at events and forums.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of technical leadership experience across full tech stacks and development processes.
- 5+ years building and managing high-performing software teams.
- 3+ years experience in designing and launching Web3 and Crypto products.
- Strong knowledge in designing and scaling API servers with a focus on security and performance.
- Proven ability to manage technical discussions and partner with product leadership.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in blockchain technology, particularly in staking/yield services.
- Understanding of protocols such as Ethereum and Polkadot.
- Experience with smart contract development is a plus.
