You will lead and grow a team of approximately 7 engineers, bringing hands-on experience in options market-making, automated quoting, execution, and risk management. The successful candidate will provide strong technical direction across trading infrastructure and is expected to have a deep understanding of algorithmic options trading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Options Engineering team.
- Enhance an existing Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
- Manage complex engineering and trading-system challenges.
- Collaborate with trading, quant, product, risk, and infrastructure stakeholders.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years in systematic trading, options market-making, or low-latency trading systems.
- Strong experience with Rust, C++, or C, with a willingness to become proficient in Rust.
- Expertise in algorithmic options trading processes including automated quoting and execution.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and low-latency trading systems.
- Familiarity with functional testing, production-grade validation practices, and distributed systems.

- Strong team player capable of mentoring engineers.
- Pragmatic problem-solver comfortable making technical decisions under uncertainty.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in ambiguous contexts.
