We are seeking a Head of Engineering to act as a Deputy CTO and lead all software development efforts for our secure, high-performance, and scalable yield generation platform. This role combines technical depth, strategic vision, blockchain foundations, and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement a technology-first strategy that drives competitive advantage and scalability.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of staking, yield, and blockchain products.
- Ensure API services are reliable and secure, handling high throughput and complex cases.
- Lead and mentor teams of Technical Leads, Software Engineers, and tech managers.
- Manage hiring, performance, and competency growth; collaborate with product managers for resource alignment.
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and continuous reliability improvements.
- Engage with the blockchain community and maintain relationships with leading protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of technical leadership across full tech stacks.
- 5+ years of building and managing high-performing software teams.
- 3+ years in designing and launching Web3 and Crypto products.
- Experience with scalable API servers and strong security knowledge.
- Strong DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure).
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in blockchain technology, especially in staking/yield services.
- Knowledge of protocols (Ethereum, Polkadot, etc.) and decentralized applications.
- Smart contract development experience is a plus.
